Terms of Service

Plain English — how CrewChange Jobs works and what we each agree to. Built by a working captain, on the mariner’s side.

Effective July 13, 2026. CrewChange Jobs is operated by JackStaff Digital LLC (Florida, USA).

1. Accepting these terms

By using CrewChange Jobs (the “Service”) — the website at crewchangejobs.com and related pages — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

2. What CrewChange Jobs is

We’re a job-matching service for the inland/towboat maritime industry. You create a free profile; verified employers browse it and reach out if you’re a fit. We are not a staffing agency, an employer, or your representative, and we don’t charge mariners to use the Service.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work to create a profile. The Service is intended for working adults in the United States maritime industry.

4. Your profile & information

• Keep it accurate. The name, phone, and email you give us are exactly what an employer uses to reach you — keep them correct and current.
• It’s yours to control. You can edit, hide, or delete your profile anytime.
• No SSN, no documents here. We never ask for your Social Security number, and you don’t upload documents to this site. If an employer moves forward, you send those directly to them.
• Be honest. Don’t impersonate anyone or post false credentials, and don’t submit another person’s information without their permission.

5. Text message (SMS) job alerts

If you opt in — by checking “Text me matching jobs” on the application form and giving us a mobile number — you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from CrewChange Jobs about jobs matching your position. Opting in is optional and is never a condition of using the Service or of any purchase.

• Message frequency varies — you’ll get a text only when a matching job posts (typically a few per month, sometimes none).
• Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt out anytime by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help. You can also turn texts off from your profile.
• We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Contact from employers

When you post a profile, you’re asking to be contacted by hiring companies. Verified employers may view your profile and reach out to you by phone or email. We vet employers before approving them, but we don’t control what they say or do — use your own judgment, and never send money or sensitive documents to anyone you don’t trust.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to break the law, harass anyone, scrape or overload the site, post spam or malware, or misrepresent who you are. We may suspend or remove any profile that abuses the Service.

8. No guarantee of employment

We work hard to connect good hands with good employers, but we can’t and don’t guarantee that you’ll be contacted, interviewed, or hired, or that any job, pay rate, or schedule described anywhere on the Service will be available.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, JackStaff Digital LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any dealings between you and an employer. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top, and material changes will be made clear on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
